Did you know? These long-haired gibbons with no tail are able to walk upright. While walking, They keep up their arms because it would scrub the ground. It is able to jump 10 meters ahead with its strong legs. The black-chested gibbon is a highly endangered species, it survived in small, secluded areas.
Watch it! Gibbon is the king of stunts. It jumps balancing its body from branch to branch hanging on with their arms alternately. They are unique among higher apes due to their vocalic signal.
Habitat: Evergreen rainforests and partly broadleaf monsoon forests
Spread: From the easternmost part of India through Bangladesh and Burma to the south of China; furthermore Indochina, Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Java and Borneo.
