Did you know? It is the smallest type of otter! The oriental (or Asian) small-clawed otter lives in Southeast Asia, South India, South China, Indonesia and the Philippines especially in wet, freshwater habitats and mangrove swamps. Otters choose mate for a lifetime and They bring up the offspring together. Youngsters usually stay with the parents and this way form groups of 10-12. Females are dominant in the group, males usually hunt for food for females and offspring.
