- A noisy, not fearful, rather inquisitive bird, with a quick, straight, swift wingbeat.
They usually live in groups of 20-50 individuals. - The plumage is bright green; the upper part of the long, pointed tail is blue-green.
The toes are strong and curved so that the bird can cling to the branches.
The beak is bright red, very strong and curved
