After dark, a different kind of zoo awakens in Győr. Animals made of light move in among the real ones, glowing shapes and installations fill the pathways, and the familiar zoo surroundings take on a whole new character in autumn and winter.
This year, WildLight Park once again invites you to an evening adventure at Xantus János Zoo. Wander among the lights, discover the animal world from a completely new perspective, and let yourself be swept away by the atmosphere of a truly special evening! Through the magical lights, we also shine a light on something that matters to us all year round: protecting animals, their habitats and nature.
This experience is not limited by age or occasion. Come with your family, grandchildren and grandparents, with friends or as a couple – WildLight can be a shared family adventure, a fun outing with friends, or a truly special date.
The journey itself can be part of the experience: set off from Dunakapu Square by light boat and travel from one world of light to another!

Győr, the city of rivers, now invites you to experience its waters in a whole new way.
From the heart of the city, a small boat departs every hour, taking you directly to the Kiskút Pier — where both real and illuminated animals await you. The boat ride is more than just a journey; it’s a way to set the mood — a prelude to the festive walk that connects the Győr night and the zoo with a cultural bridge never seen before.

Experiences in the heart of Győr – The baroque old town and views from the Bishop’s Castle Tower
From the tower of the Bishop’s Castle on Káptalan Hill, you can admire Győr’s most beautiful panorama. Take in the historic centre from above, or walk through the old town glowing with winter lights.
Secret elf houses and romantic alleys in the Old Town
Győr’s baroque city centre turns into a true fairytale in winter: narrow lanes, charming alleys and tiny squares make wandering delightful. Children love discovering the elf houses, while adults find hidden courtyards, baroque facades and peaceful little squares where it's a pleasure to rest with a cup of mulled wine or tea.
Collecting Kajla stamps
As part of the Kajla programme, children can collect stamps at several locations in Győr – including the zoo. The game provides great motivation for everyone to explore the city.
